How do I check the progress of the autoupdater?

Hello-

I remember seeing somewhere a post that said what file the autoupdater outputs status information to while updating.

Anyone know what it is?

I"m not sure the what file that is updated is, but you can watch top for the autoinstaller process to finish or disappear and you can check the admin control panel, it displays a message at the top that tells you there is an installation currently in progress.
