How do I create a CSR for a wildcard SSL Cert?

I'm trying to create a CSR for a new wildcard SSL Certificate. In the domain name field, I enter:

*.mydomain.com

As it should be, but plesk returns:

Error: Unable to generate CSR: Some fields are empty or contain an improper value.

It works on the Linux plesk. Any ideas?
