• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved How do i hide the button Website Importing ?

Linulex

Silver Pleskian
With plesk 17.0.17 becoming late adopter, we updated all servers from 12.5.30 to 17.0.17.
I notice now that some servers (not all) have a button that says: "Website Importing" (it looks like a blue sphere with a green arrow)

Not "Website Copying" that is another button and that one is alright.

wp toolkit is not installed and disabled via panel.ini. (we use installatron).

Does anyone know where this button is from and how to remove it?

Regards
Jan

As far as I know it is from Plesk Migrator.

Thats it, thank you. Disabling the Plesk Migrator removed the button.

But that gives another question: I would rather not disable the migrator, but the Website Importing button has some text about importing wordpress installations. I presume this needs the wordpress toolkit.
We use Installatron on our servers, would both work together well (Installatron and wordpress toolkit) or would they break eachother? If using both is safe, ill offer both the my clients then.

Regards
Jan

Hello!

If you importing WordPress installation (not just a single directories or databases) it will be registred in WordPress Toolkit, if it installed. So, if WordPress Tollkit is enabled and your customers can use both (Installatron and WordPress Toolkit) right now, importing of webside should not brake anything.
