How do I install CVS?

I want to install CVS.

I went to Modules and tried to upload cvs-1.11.17-1 .rpm from my local drive. I got the following error.

Unable to install the module package file: modulemng failed: cvs-1.11.17-1 modulemng: error: Installing failed

Is this not the right way to add CVS?
