• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question how to: awstats: daily log rotation for a single domain

Server operating system version
Almalinux 8
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.47#5
Server settings regarding all log rotation and statistics are standard / default. Rotate at 10MB, and keep for so long / keep so many.

One client has a new site which has very little traffic. In order to update the awstats generated page, he needs a daily log rotate for it.

We can NOT force the all domains on a daily rotate. Have tried subscription - logs - log rotation - and set it to "by time" - daily. That works for many other logs and rotates them daily, but it does NOT rotate for awstats.
It appears the rotation of awstats follows its own completely independent rules. Possibly only bound by the server wide rotate at 10MB log file size.

Does anyone here know if it is possible (and how) to configure a single domains awstats to update its displayed statistics on a daily basis?

[ possibly by creating your own logrotation in /usr/local/psa/etc/logrotate.d/awstatsown with certain settings? ]

Cheers, Tom
