• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to change Mailbox location and User Backup paths?

Is it possible to change the location where MailEnable stores its mailboxes without breaking everything, and if so, how would one go to do about that to get it done right?

Also, is it possible to tell Plesk to make User-Backups in a different location?

Our first partition, where plesk is installed, is rather small. We have all the webs on a bigger partition. The problem is, lots of things get saved to the first partition now and I'm not sure where/how to change some of that behaviour.

Thanks in advance

Yes, it can (I did it myself also!)

On the server itself, goto Plesk ReConfigurator and there you can move the locations!

Good luck!

Snef.
