nocrash
Basic Pleskian
---------------------------------------------------------------
PRODUCT, VERSION, MICROUPDATE, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE
10.4.4 SuSE 11.4 1013111102.18 (patch version="45"), 64 bit
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
How to configure number of clients for greylisting?
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
since some days we seems to get under attack, server is suddenly under high load and with a lot of
/usr/local/psa/handlers/hooks/grey processes.
Last time a number of 152, some of them at defunct state (ZOMBIE) .
at normal state i didnt see any of them in the process list (for a longer time)
EXPECTED RESULT
The mother process (/usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/psa-pc-remote -p inet:12768@localhost) should better take care of their childs
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
this is only one side effect of the "attacks", thank you for any hint to get the server harder to crack..
