• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I´m using Plesk 11.5.30 on CentOS 5.5 with Postfix as Mailserver.
My Problem ist to create an email account on a subdomain in plesk panel.

For example, I´ve got a main domain example.com and an subdomain subdomain.example.com.
I find no way to create an email account e.g. me@subdomain.example.com?!

Is there an solution for that problem?

Thanks for help.

Hi Arne,

this is possible, but with an workaround:

You have to add the subdomain as an own subscription, not as a subdomain. So, delete the subdomain, add it as an whole domain to plesk and you are on the way.

Hi Henning,

Thanks for helping.
Ok, I found the same statement by searching in the web yesterday, but was not pleased about that solution.
Because for me it feels like an unclean "fix"-solution.

But ok, I think there´s no other way, so I´ll go this...

Thank you!
