• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to create and access a domain with plesk inside Virtualbox Guest?

Hi,

I’m trying top set up a domain in a local test environment with virtualbox and Plesk 9.3. Some details:

Host: Ubuntu 9.10 x64
Guest: openSuse 11.1 x64
Virtualbox 3.1.4
Guest has one NAT and one HostOnly(192.168.56.10) Interface assigned by virtualbox.

Plesk 9.3 installed successful into the Guest. Then I create a domain with plesk and assigned the Hostonly Interface to it (exclusive). But I can’t access the domain either from the browser inside the guest nor from outside the guest.

I’m sure there has to be some network settings to be configured inside Plesk or the Guest System to find the route to the local domain inside the Guest. But I don’t know which settings.

Could anybody give me hint or point me to tutorial?

Thx.
