• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to install/configure ImageMagick 4.2.9 and above on Win2003/Plesk 8.4

Hello community,

I have the following problem. A customer of us uses a typo3 installation. It needs ImageMagick to function properly. I am trying to get ImageMagick working since weeks, nothing works :(
I am using Plesk 8.4 (Upgrade to 9 would be no problem if needed) on Windows 2003. I have tried ImageMagick 4.2.9 and the latest one too. I have a test PHP script to see if convert.exe etc. was found, that works but at the end of it it doesn't convert the test.jpg. So it seems that Plesk or PHP or something else is not allowed to run convert.exe. I have copied the cmd.exe to the PHP5 folder, to ImageMagick folder, tried several different users with different rights and of course short foldernames etc... nothing works.
Does someone have a working solution with a step-by-step tutorial how to get ImageMagick running? It's really urgent, I need a solution till monday :(

I appreciate all your help, thanks.
