Question How to limit SSH user to directory in webspace

CoyoteKG

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
I made webspace and I need to give credentials to an developer who need to develop some app.
He need to create subdomains, add ftp users, create mailboxes, etc etc... almost everything.
Also he need SSH privilege, because he need to write few SH scripts which will run via PHP from remote.
Scripts will be only for copy, backup, restore, and similar things...

I created webspace, made user role, and everything works fine until I gave SSH privilege to that user.
I logged in with that SSH and I see that he can list directories out of his webspace /var/www/vhosts/developer.com/

How to limit him just to this folder?

It doesn't look like the serious problem because system user has very limited permissions.
If you need such kind of chrooted environment - I can say that it is out of Plesk scope, unfortunately.

Hi,
I'm using Bitvise client.
Also I can use SFTP with same user, and yes, with this user I can't open folders for other webspaces, and I cant download or change anything, but I can go to root, and I can download everything. I did not try to edit something...

Is my permissions on server misconfigured or...?

Have you tried to use chrooted shell for access to the server over SSH? You can set it through "We Hosting Access" of your subscription.
