Resolved How to ssl Plesk 12 admin for all domains in plesk panel

Gogo

New Pleskian
How do I install a ssl certificate so that all domains under my IP address can login securely through the plesk control panel? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Gogo,

actually, your question has been asked quite a few times now ( within different thread titles ).

Pls. use for example the Plesk documentation as reference:

=> Getting SSL Certificates

=> certificate: SSL Certificates

... or the following Plesk KB - article:

=> SSL certificate on a domain

If you experience any issues/errors/problems, pls. don't forget your add your current used operating system, your current used Plesk version ( incl. #MU ) and try to explain "step-by-step", what you did to reach your goal, so that people willing to help have something to investigate and are then able to suggest solutions and work-arounds, to solve your described issues/errors/problems.

In addition, pls. be informed about the ( free of charge ) Plesk Let's Encrypt extension ( => Let's Encrypt - Plesk Extensions ), with which you are able to install a ( completely free of charge certificate ) for your Plesk Control Panel. ;)
You might as well be interested, that with Plesk Onyx, the goal might be reached much faster, as their are a lot of improvements made for securing the Plesk Control Panel / Webmail and your mail - server. :)

Thank you for your reply however here's my dilemma:

Hi I am currently using Plesk 12.0.18. I am trying to secure all my admin Plesk Login page using a SSL certificate from let's encrypt. I am able to secure only one of my domain names allowing me to login to plesk admin securely. However I cannot secure any of my other Plesk admin logins for my other domains.

For instance, I am able to login to https://www.mysite1.com:8443 securely but when I want to login https://www.mysite2.com:8443 or https://www.mysite3.com:8443 on the same IP the other Plesk login pages are not SSL secured.

How can i make all my other Plesk admin panels for all my domains SSL secured so they are https and not http and unsafe for login.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Gogo,

How can I install the Let's Encrypt extension in Plesk 12.0.18?
Sorry, you can't. As you might have noticed, the Plesk Let's Encrypt extension has only support for Plesk 12.5 and higher versions ( => Let's Encrypt - Plesk Extensions ).

Upgrading to Plesk 12.5 or to Plesk Onyx is very easy and you would like the new features and improvements, which come with Plesk Onyx. Pls. consider to give a try! :)
