• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk has mysql installed with it to run properly and I need to upgrade that version to the latest. Now I am not talking about the mysql server that it provides for me to create databases on. I am talking about the version it uses to run.

Yes I think so. Its listed as Plesk SQL Server on the plesk services monitor panel. You cannot even launch the plesk logon screen if I shut down this. I upgraded the Mysql that I can use for websites and databases to the latest but I need to upgrade the Plesk SQL Server which I beleive is mysql version 4.1.1
The reason I need to upgrade that is because our security scan software is complaining that there is a security vulnerability in that older version of Mysql.

Thank you.

You will need to download latest autoinstaller of plesk and upgrade everything, only upgrading mysql can cause issues.
