Hello,

Just upgraded to 10.0.1, Centos 5.5, Dedicated server.
All apache config for all domains and all ftp account for proftp is gone.

Commands "./httpdmng --reconfigure-all" and "./httpdmng --reconfigure-all", does not repair config.

Thank you very much,
Jorge.

UPDATE

If new domain added, it does not work also.

Please, help.

UPDATE 2

New structure config files are created, Includes are called OK, but for some domains apache does not load virtualhost.
May some one give me some AD about this?

Thank you so much.
Jorge.

Problem with apache config is that *your* new structure does not set ServerAlias for www.<domain>

FTP is dead.

With all due respect.

same problem here..

All domains are gone.

I figured out a way to get the hostingaccounts back by manually including all the vhosts in apache's conf like this:
Include '/var/www/vhosts/#DOMAIN#/conf/httpd.include'
Include '/var/www/vhosts/#DOMAIN#/conf/vhost.conf'

But all forwarding domains are still down...
Also plesk GUI isn't available.. I get error 500!!

WHAT THE #*$(()*()S HAPPENED!!!!!

By the other hand, I must highlight that the new concept in the panel is *very* much better and the new features (as multiple ftp accounts, new rols, etc) are fantastic. Thank you for that.

What to do with those issues coming from the upgrade?

I have (still) no FTP access for my clients.

Me again,

All my clients lost FTP access.
Some one in the world have any clue about how to workaround this "little" issue?

Hi Igor,

Yep read that...
The /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates is missing... so i can't even copy from default.

I will contact plesk support team

hmm made an mistake...
the templates dir is there...

bij reconfiguring the vhosts (either by --reconfigure-all or --reconfigure-domain) not all domains get their conf files..

Hi,

ftpmng command does not work.
Changes from panel on any ftp account does not has effect, also.
It produces a 0 byte lenght proftpd.include file.
No user has FTP access.
What the templates mentioned in that doc has relation to it?

Thank you,
Jorge.

There is definitely something wrong. Support tickets have been opened, but httpmng does not work, nor does ftpmng. Websrvmng just calls those binaries when creating the configs. The config files are written blank.

Got a temp fix for you guys to at least get your sites online.

Modify your zz_psa.conf file in httpd/conf.d and add this line:

Include /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/generated/xx_server.include

Replace xx_server.include with the appropriate config file from that directory, for example:

Include /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/generated/12888704480.33622300_server.include

Did you read http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...ne/plesk-apache-configuration-guide/index.htm ?
Did you tried contact Support Team if this problem is very urgent?

Igor, is impossile to post a support request, I can not find the "plesk build" info from the panel, or what I found is incorrect.

Are we convicted to NOT have FTP access at all until some good willing comes from Parallels?

Besides, is not clear that not having FTP access at all for all of the users is very urgent?.

What to do?

Thank you,
Jorge.

Than only words received from Parallels come in the mail bulletin announcing Plesk 10.

"With over 100 new features requested by our customers, Parallels Plesk Panel 10 is easy to use, profitable and the most complete hosting automation system available"

Can't be profitable if your user can't do FTP.

Came on!

You are going to have to wait for an official reply from Parallels. We have submitted support tickets to parallels for the instances we have ran into. So far the problem seems consistent and we have replicated it twice successfully. The fix I posted above should be fine for your sites, however FTP is a different story.

I'll post back if we have a successful method to get FTP working until a fix is released.
