  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

I need to migrate a client from one server to another

As i read through the forum i understood that Plesk 7.5.x for windows does not have a migration tool I have to backup all client's files using the bakup utility provided with plesk and trestore it on the destionation server.

The only thing is that when i try to perform the backup for a single client, Plesk tries to backup the mssql databases from all the clients on the server. that is not actually an issue, because we use a dedicated MSSQL server and remote databases cannot be backedup, so i can sip them.

The problem is when i wan to restore the backup on the destionation server it throws an error that another client account thas nothing to do with my backup has exceeded the maximum number of databases.

I really ned some help here...

P.S.
I'm open to other suggestions regarding the migration proccess.
