Initial Mailman setup?

Hi. I've been using Plesk 7, and more recently, Plesk 8.0.1 for about 3 years now. My current OS is CentOS 4.5 Final. I'm pretty familiar with the day to day management of things, but recently a client asked about mailman. I've never even touched mailman. As far as I can tell, it is installed on the server. I did some research on google, but the instructions all seem to be OS dependant. I found references instructing me to edit mm_cfg.py and mailman.conf and a few other files. I briefly tinkered with it, but I didn't get too far.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this, and if so, can you share a quick and dirty setup procedure.

My file locations are:

/etc/mailman/mm_cfg.py
/etc/httpd/conf.d/mailman.conf
/usr/lib/mailman <-- mailman binaries

Thanks.
