• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Install PLESK only with DNS Support?

Hello Peoples,

Is it possible to install PLESK on a Linux Server with DNS Support Only, my job is to migrate 2 Windows DNS Servers to Linux, and these servers have to be easily manageable trough a web GUI.

Now my question, can i install Plesk and only use the DNS functions of it? I know there are many webguis for DNS out there, but they all look awful and are very unfomfortable. And PLEX just looks so sweet ;)

best regards

I would suggest DNS Manager for this task.. Works with win and *nix...

Thank you for the Reply, do you have a link maybe, i searched google for DNS-Manager but didn't found anything interessting.
