  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Install Python 2.7.7+ for Django on Plesk 12 CentOS 6.6

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I running Plesk 12 on a CentOS 6.6 (Final) server which has Python 2.6.6 installed by default.
For one of my sites I need to host a Django app (Django REST Framework).

Out of the box Plesk 12 does not support Django because of the minimum requirement of Python 2.7.7.

Now I found this article describing how to install Django on a Ubuntu server:
http://devblog.plesk.com/2014/10/plesk-and-django/

Obviously this does not work for CentOS 6.5, does anyone know how to set it up for CentOS 6.5?

@Plesk developers: I noticed that the Django/Python Support is planned on UserVoice http://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/1...ons/suggestions/5910431-django-python-support Can you tell me when we can expect this support to be added in Plesk?

Thanks!
