  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Installation of Plesk under Windows Cluster

Hi all,

I have tested to work Plesk under RedHat Cluster and I need to setup it under Windows Cluster. I will only use the webhosting functions and will not use DNS/mail function. Do you have any suggestions?

I will setup two Windows 2008 Enterprise in cluster with 1 active and 1 standby. Both will share the same disks(LUNs)(like E:\) while only the active node can access this partition. If I install plesk under E:\, is it meaning that all application and related data are already stored under this partition? Under Linux, it has /etc/psa/psa.conf to indicate related application directory. Where is the location for Windows version?

Under Linux, all ftp users are stored under /etc/passwd? How about Windows?

Thanks!
