installation

i m using RHEL which is behind the firewall.
I downloaded the Plesk 8.1 abd when i run the following packages :

psa-8.1.0-rhel4.build81070224.19.i586.rpm.tar.gz
psa_installer_v3.1.0_build061201.02_os_RedHat_el4_i386

I have extracted the .tar.gz package.
But when i run the auto-installer,everytime it displays error message, if I select local,Plesk server or Others. ANd error is related to sometimes of product.inf2, versions.inf3 or psa.inf3 file.

I have tried everything whatever i can do ...at last thought , to post in this forum

plesk Insallation problem

I'd just download the PLesk 8.1 for my RHEL server.

Followings are the packages which i'd downloaded:

psa-8.1.0-rhel4.build81070224.19.i586.rpm.tar.gz
psa_installer_v3.1.0_build061201.02_os_RedHat_el4_i386


I extracted the .tar.gz file and when I run the auto-installer file, each and every time, i get the same error message related to versions.inf3, products.inf3 and psa.inf3 file.

My RHEL is behind the server even if i select the proxy server, and enter the reqd info, same error appears. I tried with local Local media, but same error.

i want to know how to overcome these error ??

As I understand autoinstaller can't resolve autoinstall.plesk.com:

# host autoinstall.plesk.com
autoinstall.plesk.com has address 69.64.46.31

Please make sure that this site is resolved correctly on your server. You can also install Plesk manually. For manual installation I can suggest you to read release note for 8.1 version:
