  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Installing Coldfusion on CentOS 6 running plesk 11

suraj@

New Pleskian
Hi,

Hope someone will be able to help me. I have recently setup a new server and it is not yet on production. The server runs plesk 11 on centos 6. I need to installed coldfusion to run but dont know how to install coldfusion and cant find any documentation on this.

I subscribed to Plesk 11 with powerpack and have paid for the first month of subscription. So my license is valid. Plesk Powerpack is suppose to have coldfusion. That was the only reason why I subscribed for powerpack.

On tools-> Services management. ColdFusion (Not configured) and is greyed out.

There also the option for ColdFusion setting and asks for ColdFusion installation path. Dont know what needs to be inserted here?

I searched many places to find out steps to install ColdFusion on linux/centos but could not find one. There are other forums for Windows based system not on linux with ColdFusion.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Suraj
