Installing DNN Application on Domain

Before installing DNN (Dotnetnuke) on my domain , do I need to configure anything else before I install the application? I plan on installing DNN using the ASP.NET Web Applications->Install new web application method. When I view the Application Package Information, it shows MS ASP.NET, MS .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, and MS SQL Databases as required items. Does the DNN Application Package configure the required items or do I need to do this first? I thought I would ask the question before I attempted to "just install" the application package.
