Installing JIRA on Plesk (Tomcat)
I am trying to install JIRA (Tomcat App) in my domain (Plesk 11.x with Tomcat 6.0.x Server enabled):
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Installing+JIRA+on+Tomcat+6.0+or+7.0
I should put the file jira.xml (with critical settings) in the folder $CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/. Without this file the installation hangs and i can not seem to move forward. Since i have a "Reseller" account on Plesk, my provider told me that i can not put this file in this folder.
It is true?
Can i put jira.xml in $CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/?
If not, can anyone help me?
Thanks.
