    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Resolved IP Address Banning, cannot turn on

Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.44
Today I connected to Plesk and in the main home screen I discover IP Banning was off.
I clicked on the change link than checked the box Enable intrusion detection and saved.
A green message show:

Information: The settings were saved. but the check box still be unchecked and in the home screen still see IP Banning off.

How can I resolve?

I run also a Plesk check but everything is showed OK by the tool.

If it is still not started, check the reason in /var/log/fail2ban.log
 
Logs are empty. Sorry but this forum software is giving issue with all browsers :D
I tried also to unistall and install again fail2ban but nothing.
 
I started fail2ban with:

# service fail2ban start

and see in /var/log/syslog:

Jun 22 06:21:01 distracted-rosalind systemd[1]: Starting Fail2Ban Service...
Jun 22 06:21:01 distracted-rosalind systemd[1]: Started Fail2Ban Service.
Jun 22 06:21:02 distracted-rosalind fail2ban-server[844708]: Server ready
