• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

IP change for shared and exclusive IP sites

Is there a way to keep 2 IP's, one for the old IP and one for the new for a shared or exclusive IP site until DNS has propagated?

Problem is that our provider gave us a small block of IP's. And now i need to move into a bigger space. I need to migrate the IP's to the new block without killing web service. I'm not using Plesk's Bind server for DNS i have a separate box for that, so all Plesk is doing is hosting my webpages.

I looked at the Reconfigurator tool, it doesn't look like it will allow me to keep 2 IP's running for one site. Any help would be great.

Scott.
