• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Hello all,

I have a problem with ngnix in connection with ipv6 addresses. All visitors run into an error 502 bad gateway. In the logfile can always find the following

2023-04-28 18:35:27 Error 2001:4dd6:502:0:7096:ee2f:251e:21a3 1290#0: *190 connect() failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to upstream nginx error

Strangely, this only affects visitors with ipv6, no problem with ipv4.

Does anyone have a tip for me?

Thanks and greetings
Tom

Do you have the Plesk Firewall installed and enabled? If so, what happens if you (temporarily) disable the Firewall?

Hi Kaspar,

thanks for the tip, you are right that was it. I installed fail2ban and had an error in a jail. After I deactivated the one everything runs fine.

Thank you very much!
Tom
