Hi Community,
I want to take a moment to say goodbye after about seven years of working together, fixing issues, building cool things, and enjoying the fun (and sometimes chaos) of server management. Since starting my company, Plesk has been part of my daily work, both on my own servers and on many of my clients’ systems.
However, due to the recent price increases and the lack of some essential functionality – for example, reliable & free email spam detection – I’ve decided to move away from Plesk. There are many great extensions available, but the overall pricing has reached a point I’m no longer willing to accept.
Another factor that made this decision easier is that my hosting provider, Hetzner, no longer officially supports Plesk. This makes it unnecessarily complicated to set up new projects in a stable and efficient way.
This post is not meant to blame Plesk. Quite the opposite: I want to thank you all. Over the years, this community has helped me countless times, supported my clients and made the journey truly enjoyable. I learned a lot here and really appreciated the collaborative spirit.
