  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Joomla 1.5 and phpsuexec - 'Idiot' guide

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me with this. Basically my site runs on Joomla 1.5 and I have moved to VPS with Plesk 9.3. For some features to run properly you need to have a number of directories to be writable. On my previous host with folder permissions 755, they were writable. However now they need to be 777 to be writable. How do I set up phpsuexec to run on my VPS? I know you need to go to domains>web hosting setup and change PHP to run as CGI. I need an 'idiot guide' as to what to do next.

Appreciate your help!
