Question Joomla Toolkit: System Diagnostics marked as failed when Joomla site is offline?

Hello,

I noticed what might be a bug or at least unexpected behaviour in Joomla Toolkit.

If a Joomla website is intentionally set to Offline in Global Configuration (for development, maintenance, staging, etc.), Joomla Toolkit reports:

System Diagnostics: Failed

However, the Joomla installation itself is working correctly and the offline status is intentional.

My questions are:

1. Is this behaviour expected?
2. Does Joomla Toolkit intentionally treat Joomla's Offline Mode as a failed system diagnostic?
3. Or should an offline Joomla website still be considered healthy and only display a warning instead of a failed status?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable Joomla Offline Mode in Global Configuration.
2. Refresh Joomla Toolkit data.
3. System Diagnostics is reported as failed.

Can anyone confirm whether this is intended behaviour or a bug?

Hi, @MartinG . I suspect this is an expected behavior as the request fails when the website is set to "Offline". However, I will further consult with our team on the behavior so they can confirm for sure and provide more insights on what exactly is causing the failure.
