• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

I installed plesk a couple months ago and am sure that I had it runnning on IIS. I have since rerun the install progra to dd features to my plesk setup (ASP.NET starterkits etc). Since then, the site that I had running in IIS has been stopped and I notice that the apache service is running, and serving the plesk control panel. This is not what I want and I definitely dont wat apache on my box. How can I change the Web server that the contorl panel is served from?

Run this:

%plesk_bin%\reconfigurator.exe --switch-plesk-web-server --new-provider=iis

Great. Thank you very much. I will add this information to my knowledgebase as I have since uninstalled then reinstalled plesk and have it running under IIS.

Thank you veyr much for your response.
