Issue Let's Encrypt SSL bug?

Trying to install a Let's Encrypt SSL and I get this error, the domain is only 14 chars long xxxx.xxxx.co.uk (Sub domain) and I get this error, how can I fix this?

CSR could not be generated: error:0E06D06C:configuration file routines:NCONF_get_string:no value

If I change the email address in Let's Encrypt, I get this error

Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized

Status: 403

Detail: User account ID doesn't match account ID in authorization[/CODE]
