  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Resolved Let's Encrypt SSL

Dell Car

New Pleskian
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I am new to setting up servers.

I currently have a VPS with Plesk panel interface. On the server I have 1 domain, and 2 sub-domains (with one of the sub-domains set to the servers ip address. I kept getting errors when trying to create a certificate through Let's Encrypt "No valid IP addresses found". I added a reverse DNS for the sub-domain that points to the server, and I was able to gain a certificate.

My question, I am still getting the same error for my top level domain, and the other sub-domain, is this normal? Should I only have to set the SSL cert for the sub-domain that's pointing to the server?
