• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue Let's Encrypt - Too many redirects error

CristinaP

New Pleskian
Hello,
We have a brand new Windows server 2016 with Plesk Onyx 17. I've enabled Let's Encrypt for a website and I keep getting the "Too many redirects" error whenever I access the website with https. The website didn't have any rewrite rules for https in web.config. When I first got that error, I tried adding some rewrite rules for https, but nothing happened. I haven't found any other solutions that would solve this problem. Any ideas?
Thank you

I suggest to check the scripts of your website if they are configuring the website to use a specific non-SSL domain. For instance if this is a Wordpress website, the homepage (siteurl) might be set to http:// instead of https://.
