  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Letsencrypt Error - Type: unauthorized

Marc77

New Pleskian
Hello,

I was running Plesk 11 and I tried to install letsencrypt via ssh without success. During this time my host had DNS Problems.

2 days later I found out, that Plesk 12.5 have a letsencrypt extension. I made an update to 12.5 and installed the letsencrypt extension. When I try to create the certifacte for the domain I tried before, I get this error:

----
Starting new HTTPS connection (1): acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org
Obtaining a new certificate
Performing the following challenges:
http-01 challenge for mydomain.de
Starting new HTTPS connection (1): 127.0.0.1

<html"
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The following errors were reported by the server:

Domain: mydomain.de
Type: unauthorized
Detail: Invalid response from

"<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
<html"

To fix these errors, please make sure that your domain name was
entered correctly and the DNS A record(s) for that domain
contain(s) the right IP address.
-----

For other domains and subdomain in Plesk letsencrypt is working perfect, only for this domain I tried before via ssh its not working. Do you have a fix for this?

Kind regards
