  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

location of domain files and mysql during upgrade

New Pleskian
Last night i tried upgrading 9.5 to the latest 11.x version. Ofcourse I made a backup on a remote server and after I finished the backup started the upgrade.

Unfortunately the upgrade went all wrong. Loads of errors during the upgrade. Tried all kinds of things to fix this issues, but it seems like a loss.

So my nextstep is a complete reinstall of Plesk. Unfortunately the unthinkable happened. The server with the backup isn't reachable any more and I can't get to it.

My final solution is to install a new Plesk version and manually rebuild every client and domain. For this to even be remotely a option, I need two things:
- HTTP files from the domains
- MySQL databes from the domains

So my question is: What is the default location of plesk to temporary dump the files from the domains during the upgrade? I hope I can rescue the files.
