• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question Log rotation not following the rules I have established

I have every site on my servers set to rotate weekly, and to retain 25 log files. If you look at my screen captures, you'll note that in this particular domain and subdomain, the log rotation is very sporadic. Anyone have any sense as to what the problem might be please?

Looks right to me, the log rotation is based off of each different logs, so W3SVC29 is not the same as W3SVC30. You can check IIS settings as well to see how it's configured, there's server level and site level logging (I'll need to spin up a new test server to test it and confirm which I'll check it later) but as far as I can see, a month hasn't came up yet plus 25 log files hasn't been reached yet either.
