lost firewall module

the firewall module is shown as installed and up to date, but doesn't show up in the buttons.

I tried to add it again with the module manager "add a module", but I got "modulemng failed" could not be installed, bla-bla.
I tried with the other rpms listed as modules (vpn, fileserver), but none worked.

any ideas?
