  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Mail bouncing due to SPF errors

New Pleskian
I'm using Panel 11.0.9 and QMail. I have one client in particular who is getting mail returned with either one of 2 following bounce messages:
1. MTA p3plsmtpout003.prod.phx3.secureserver.net received this response from the destination host IP - 216.69.186.201 - 550 , 5.7.1 SPF unauthorized mail is prohibited..
2. MTA p3plsmtpout002.prod.phx3.secureserver.net received this response from the destination host IP - 75.138.167.162 - 550 , 5.7.1 550 Message rejected because SPF check failed.

This happens at random with different recipients, sometimes the same recipient multiple times.

On the mail server settings I have Domain Keys spam protection signing out going mail turned on as well as SPF spam protection turned on but it has not made a difference. Any ideas would be most welcome!

Thanks!
Seth

After checking that article i did DiG check for SPF and TXT and got the following responses:

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;highpeaksbuilders.com. IN TXT

;; ANSWER SECTION:
highpeaksbuilders.com. 3600 IN TXT "v=spf1 +a +mx -all"

and for SPF

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;highpeaksbuilders.com. IN SPF

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
highpeaksbuilders.com. 1800 IN SOA ns1.appappdesigns.com. sethr.me.com. 1372697523 10800 3600 604800 10800

So this means that there is a TXT SPF record being added to outgoing emails? If so then why the bounces?
