mail.<domain>.com -> webmail.<domain>.com

I would like to be able to enter http://mail.whatever.com in a browser and be redirected to horde webmail for the whatever.com domain. Can this be done?

Create a mail subdomain and put in some kind of redirect. You can use what you like: mod_rewrite, meta refresh, a PHP script or even a frame.
