• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

mail forwarding

I am trying to setup mal forwarding for one of my user.

Unfortunatly this does not work.
I am assuming I made an error in the configuration of the server, but do not know where.
Can anybody help me?

Here is some more info as far as i have it

I am using plesk 7.0.2 for windows on a newly installed 2003 server. Trouble is, I have not installed the server nor the plesk software, but I am supposed to manage it.

In my configuration I want to use the "forward mail" option.
When I use a forward to an mail adress on the same server everything works fine, but to an external adress things do not work at all. Mail will not be sent, but no error is showing.

As far as I know there is a setting on the server that is not right, but I do not know where to look.. Probably it is on the server itself, and not in the plesk software.

Is there something I could use to test the setting thyey made?

Any advise is welcome, hope this helps as well.

mail server is not configured upon installation. plesk is using mail enable 1.0. Login to the server and configure your mail server (mail enable 1.0) you will also see error logs etc in there
