Mail not being received. Courier / SSL Issues?

Hi Guys,

Last night a client noticed they weren't receiving any emails sent to their account. I checked the maillog & found this:

Mar 31 05:30:46 tetrahost pop3d: couriertls: connect: error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca

Any emails sent to an account don't bounce, they just don't get delivered to the mailbox. I'm not quite sure what the error is. We have a self signed certificate on the box. The SSL port is open also. Not sure what else to check.

Any ideas?
 
For some reason the issue was with enabling spf. each time i enable it, i get the same error. not too concerned cause i dont use spf checks anyway.
