Hi
Our hosting company advised us to switch to a Virtual server a few months back when we upgraded our website and wanted PHP support/ MySQL databases. We ended up with a Plesk system 9.5.4 running CentOs on Linux i think.
Just recently we are having major issues with the mail queue. All the emails from the company seem to get stored in the mail queue and eventually deleted after 7 days. I'm at a loss really where to start and the hosting company have been useless over the last week saying that it isnt a managed service and therefore not their problem.
I've tried the following, but beyond that is a little out of my league. We're only a small business (5 staff) with no dedicated true IT specialist.
1. Logged into Plesk and went to Mail in the server section and verified the settings.
2. Restarted the SMTP service in Service Management.
Anyone have any suggestions how to clear it? Need a little bit of a dummys guide is possible.
Thanks
Mark
