Mailing list issue

Hello,
I have made a mailing list in using control panel and I want users to be able to subscribe to this list by submitting their email address to a form. Then they receive a confirmation mail and by clicking on the containing link they will be subscribed. The thing is that when they click on the link the mail subscribed to the mailing list is the one which is in the Return-Path of the original message. Any suggestions on this?
