The mailman button does not show up in control panel. It's not grayed out, like many others have experienced on this forum, it's just not there at all.

mailman is installed and running. I get the following output:

Code:
[root@host root]# ps ax | grep qrunner
32739 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=ArchRunner:0:1 -s
32740 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=BounceRunner:0:1 -s
32741 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=CommandRunner:0:1 -s
32742 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=IncomingRunner:0:1 -s
32743 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=NewsRunner:0:1 -s
32744 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=OutgoingRunner:0:1 -s
32745 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=VirginRunner:0:1 -s
32746 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/python /var/mailman/bin/qrunner --runner=RetryRunner:0:1 -s
  308 pts/0 R 0:00 grep qrunner

I think I turned it off somewhere myself, but I don't remember now where I did it. I should have wrote it down.

Just dealt with this, kinda. In my case, the isp had not installed it... I noted that after I gave it the admin info, it told me the icon was going away...

So, I guess you shouldn't have one after you've set the admin.

Well, as I said, in my case it is installed, it's even running as the PS command shows.

I have the same problem. After a new installation i tried to configure Mailman but it failed. After that the mailman button does not show up in control panel.

I have SuSE 9.3 and mailman package installed.
