• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Mailman DNS CNAME template

I am currently running Plesk 7.5.4 on Virtuozzo. Due to my hosting providers setup I have the server configured in a less than standard way. I am currently have problems with Mailman and was curious where Plesk stores the template for the DNS entry.

The problem I am encountering is there is a CNAME record pointing lists.<domain> in my DNS and I want to change it to an A record pointing to my IP. As soon as I do it a few days later the CNAME entry is back.

I have been searching and cannot find a way to set this permanently. It is not in the standard DNS template and I can't find it stored in any of the normal config file locations. Any ideas?
