  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Mailman list not visible in Plesk and not working

Hi,
I am using CentOS 5.8 and Plesk 11.0.9.

I've just created my 5th Mailman mailing list. I created it "manualy" by going to http://lists.company.com/mailman/create.

However, the list doesn't work.

Then I went to check my Plesk panel, and there I see only 4 lists. Why doesn't it show my new 5th lists?

Note: before I created a lists I had to change the password for my Mailman via comand line: /usr/lib/mailman/bin/mmsitepass "newpassword"
 
You need to create items with using Plesk interface but not in other manners if you want to see these items in Plesk.
Items, created by other methods, will not be registered on to Plesk database, so they are not visible in the Plesk interface and may not work correctly.

Are you sure?
My other mailing lists I also created directly using Mailman web interface, not with Plesk interface (but long time ago, before I upgraded from Plesk 9 to 11). And they are visible in Plesk. Do you know which database is using Plesk, and which Mailman, are they different?

There are two problems with new list:
1.) List is not working.
2.) List is not visible in Plesk.

If I resolve 1), then I would not care for 2), but somehow I suspect the issues are related?
