Mailserver changed and now an error

Without any reason plesk changed the mailserver back from smartermail to mailenable

Now I want to turn back smartermail as default mailservers and I get an error like:

ERROR: PleskFatalException
DefPackageMng() constructor failed: defpackagemng failed: Can't rename domain.
Domain: domainname.nl [domainname.nl].
Reason:
Failed to rename domain 'domainname.nl' to 'domainname.nl.disabled'
Failed to set up SmarterMail for working with Plesk.
Probably, your server is overloaded and SmarterMail cannot cope with processing of your queries.
Try to repeat the operation when the server's load decreases.

Additionally, an exception has occurred while trying to report this error: PleskFatalException

Does anyone recognize this problem and knows an solution how to quickly set smartermail back as default mail server again?
(smartermail is running if started manually without any problems)

Also the server is not overloaded, it is doing absolutely nothing, cpu load is low and also mem usage is low

sir, could you please update 7.6.0 up to 8.1.0 or 7.6.1?
there are many bugfixes in these versions regarding sm integration.
did you install any sm updates before?

No because I have a new server ready for use.
This server goes online upcomming weekend and I wish to make a decent backup of 7.6.0 and then load it into 8.1 on the new server.

So I do not want to upgrade this server anymore, this is a lot of work and risks for nothing.
I am only afraid that now the restore into 8.1 is gonna fail because of the problems in 7.6

I tested it several times but then smartermail was running normally and now it isnt anymore.

unfortunatly we did not find any errors in this server.
mailserver is switched without problems.
now it works properly.

Yes, after it worked again I made a backup and restored it on the new server.
This new server is already up and running (on same ip) since last weekend
So please close the ticked
