Mailserver spaming from root@ email getting bouncebacks

hello

im looking for a place to start with trouble shooting my mailserver, im getting bounceback email to my [email protected]vercom address.

first question

is the mailserver managed or setup/generated via pleask on a dedicated server? i know i use postfix commands

i can login to root turn off mailserver and that stops the spam, also took a look at the mail logs and not sure what im looking for.

can anyone give me a starting point, whats got me confused is the fact the email spam is generating from root if it were one of my domains i would at least have some clue.
