• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

manually editing database from Enterprise Manager

Hi, i'm using Plesk 7.5 for Windows and MSSQL 2005.

I'm trying to delete a database I created but it won't let me because "the database principal owns a database role and cannot be dropped". I'm a logged in as admin and _I_ created the database myself. Now, how do I get rid of this database?

Can i use SQL enterprise manager to drop the whole database or it is going to screw up Plesk? This is a production server so I'm not really able to experiement hehe.

Help!!!

Don't perform deletion from SQL manager instead all operations must be performed through Plesk interface

Thanks for the reply! Good thing I waited before deleting the database with SQL Manager.!Any idea how I could fix this problem? is the login name "admin" the main administrator or only a super admin has every permissions?

Open Management Studio and check what user of this database has db_owner role
Give dbo db_owner role
