• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
    To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Maps rblsmtpd not working

Jllynch

Regular Pleskian
Putting various Maps servers into the MAPS setting in the control panel doesn't seem to actualy do anything for us.

We run two servers with 7.5.4 on RH9 and Centos 4.2 and both have the same problem.

To test MAPS we run the following from the server command line;
telnet ns1.crynwr.com

(as documented here http://www.crynwr.com/spam/)

We get back the following;
Successful termination. As far as I can tell, the email was delivered.
That might not be what you want.

We also receive the email messages.

Our maps list contains just;
sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org

We have tried other servers.

We have the following settings;
cat /etc/xinetd.d/smtp_psa

service smtp
{
socket_type = stream
protocol = tcp
wait = no
disable = no
user = root
instances = UNLIMITED
server = /var/qmail/bin/tcp-env
server_args = /usr/sbin/rblsmtpd -r sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org /var/qmail/bin/relaylock /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd /var/qmail/bin/smtp_auth /var/qmail/bin/true /var/qmail/bin/cmd5checkpw /var/qmail/bin/true
}

Does anyone know what might be going on? Or even how we can test if it is working or get more feedback on why it might not be working?

Justin

Yeah
we tried restarting xinetd and qmail...

We have even rebooted since then and this has not been working for some time now...

Any other help would be much appreciated.
